In legal news, participants in class action suits against Pilot Flying J have the opportunity to opt out of agreeing to a settlement. Pilot created an agreement to settle the ~ 20 class action suits currently open against the company. Pilot has agreed to pay all owed funds including administrative, accounting, and attorney’s fees, as well as court fees. In addition to the settlement, the company has also performed internal audits on many of their contracts in an effort to determine whether funds were owed in any of those cases. They’ve found that there were some funds owed to other customers, which they reimbursed. More news on the settlement can be found here.
